Number 5 of the 100 Art Theme Challenge!!

I had a lot of fun drawing this one. I also figured I'd draw something not related to Red Night for once. The kid is one of my first characters I ever made up, I must have been 10 when I came up with him, aw The story he was the lead from that I had written WAS DREADFUL too hah

Anyway, I basically came up with the picture listening to this song here:

It's a very relaxing song, the guys voice is so calming :3

I rest my head
Between the bed and sky
Download my dread
Disarm my mind, make it dry
Nothing in motion, and I'm satisfied
No disappointment, until I wake up

Don't want to wake up
Into clear space
Vivid vision, see her shape
At my bedside, beam up my mind please

People percieve songs differently and take their own meanings from them. For me, the song is about how the person is only happy when he is asleep, and he finds comfort in it. He doesn't want to wake up
So yeah, he finds his solace in his slumber. I took that and drew a picture.

I like it, I tried some new ways to shade and line art. It took FAAAAR TO DAMN LONG so I'm not going to draw like this often, I've also been looking at shading too. GOOD PRACTISE MAN! I have to get better!

I would explain more about the kid here, but that would take faaar too long.
